Dr. Alissa Fox - Metropolitan Dermatology

"New patient in the look for a dermatologist to treat my acne. Saw alissa fox and would not recommend. She rushed through the appointment even though there was NONODY ELSE waiting. I was there maybe 3 minutes total… she talked nonstop and wouldn’t even let me explain what my situation was or any history behind it. She just talk rushed brought samples and that was it…. I have a follow up in 6 weeks but will be canceling that and find someone else who actually cares for their patients. The office is also very outdated, the room is messy, dirty and just ew. There were pictures old machines and just not properly laid out for patients."

"The staff was really nice and got me in on the day I called, as I was in extreme discomfort. Dr Sutton was just wonderful! She has a very nice, calming energy. She listened to me, never rushing me, and made me feel understood. She also explained the treatment she recommended, clearly and confidently. (And by the way, the soft pat on my arm went a LONG way to show her empathy for my discomfort and to let me know she heard me and knows how to help. A lot of doctors don't understand how that simple connection can put a patient at ease. Bravo!!) She and her medical assistant had to take a biopsy and give me a shot and they were both very gentle and proficient, explaining each step and checking on my comfort level during the procedures. I hope to never have another allergic reaction or any other skin issues again, but if I do, I will go out of my way to see her again. That says A LOT after only one visit. Thank you again!!"

"Dr. Fox had been taking excellent care of me since 2006. She really cares about my well being. Both my husband and I see her and are very happy with the care we receive. She is reassuring and has a good bedside manner. I am pleased with the care I receive."

"My dad & I were former patients of Dr. Fox. I stopping going to her because she would not listen to me or my concerns. My father was a patient of hers and was having skin irritation. She took him off steroids and told him to expect discomfort. Almost two years go by and the discomfort never ended, actually his skin got worse and every time he saw her he didn't get answers or solutions. So I forced my dad to see a different dermatologist for a second opinion. They took a biopsy of his skin and found out he has cancer. Please do not see this Doctor. Your best interest is not in mind. Cancer is a serious, it could have been caught earlier."
