Our Community

Since the arrival of the first Anglicans with founder John Fenwick in 1675, St. John's has been a cornerstone of faith in the Delaware Valley. Established as a community of faith in 1722, we have grown from a mission to a parish church, dedicated to worship, fellowship, and mission.

Sacred Moments and Services

Join us for our Sunday Services, which follow The Episcopal Church Book of Common Prayer. We invite everyone, regardless of their background, to be part of our sacred gatherings in thought, word, and deed. If you are baptized, you are welcome to receive communion. We offer both wafers and wine, with gluten-free options available, and you may receive communion in one kind if necessary.

At St. John's, we celebrate diversity and welcome individuals and families of all kinds. Whether you are married, single, partnered, divorced, widowed, gay, straight, or still figuring it out, you have a home with us. We encourage you to bring your children, from babies to teens, as they too are welcome.

Baptism is open to all ages, genders, sexual orientations, and identities. If you have not yet been baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, we invite you to take this sacred step with us.
