"I have just completed the 4th of 4 optilight treatments for dry eye disease. After each treatment, my dry eyes were noticeably less dry and I am hopeful this progress will continue. From the first consultation, Dr. Bartholomew has answered all my questions about this light therapy and gave me the confidence to try it. She and her assistant, Kerstin completed each session while putting me at ease; and making sure I was comfortable and answering any question or need I had. The therapy I received was not terribly painful - the first part was aptly described as a rubber band snapped on one’s skin- just a little discomfort; the rest of the treatment was less intense and more soothing. Dr. Bartholomew and Kerstin kept a casual dialogue going and kept me informed each step of the way through the treatment. I was so thrilled to learn of this treatment as the dry eye disease was becoming a daily frustration for me. Now I have much less dryness in my eyes and I’m so glad I decided to get this therapy. Everyone in this office has been polite, friendly, and welcoming. I highly recommend this treatment for dry eye disease and getting it with Dr.Bartholomew at this office.
