"Went for visit today January 30, 2020 Asking for a follow up on laser treatment I had in September. He was rude as was in the past to me. At one point when he left the office for a few minutes I heard him say woof woof and that was not nice. He said I would have to come back for an addl appt to get other laser work done as he said he had patients to see. So I’m not a patient. Did not like his attitude at all. The office staff is very friendly and personable. I doubt I will return."

"Dr. Bilkis is a very patient-oriented physician. This is the fourth year going to Dr. Bilkis for an annual routine check. Previously, the Dermatologists that I was going to were very preoccupied with finding things to justify additional billable services. In one office, this would always include cutting four or more moles off for biopsy. The next Dermatologist was similarly working hard to find work for their OR. In one case, the Surgeon could not even find the lesion to be removed and so he made a long gash on my left arm, just to be sure. This experience led me to doubt the credibility of the physician who referred me for the surgery. It seemed as though they were more interested in revenue than in my well-being as the patient. That was when I found Dr. Bilkis. His examinations are thorough but he is measured in his diagnoses. He takes the most effective approach to the particular issue. Today, two “spots” were frozen. Dr. Bilkis’s approach gives me a lot of confidence in his opinion and advice. I would recommend him strongly as, for him, the interest and well-being of the patient is clearly primary."

"I wished , I had seen this reviews before My app. He saw me for 2 min and didn’t even see my rash in my nose, he was walking out and kind of told me it was nothing! Meanwhile I had it for 2 years! Do not make app with this guy This makes this group very bad! I will give him half a star"

"I have mixed feelings about Dr. Bilkis. Yes, he can be a little abrupt, but he tried to address my skin issues beyond just handing me a prescription. He inquired about things like my stress level and my diet, which have turned out to be major issues for me. His office staff is always very friendly and helpful."

"I am writing this review so that no one experiences what I did with Dr. Michael Bilkis. He walks in shakes your hand and says hello and with no eye contact continues to speak to you as he looks at his computer screen. I was telling him my history with my skin and what I was given in the past and would like again because it worked. He proceeds to not even acknowledge me and google creams and rush me out. Obviously this doctor has no bed side manners, and can't even show any interest in what I was saying. Especially being a new client and all didn't even matter to him. So a week later I called because I was having an issue with the cream he prescribed, and wanted to see if he could prescribe another one. I get a message from the front desk saying that he said just to continue using it. When I called to explain that maybe she misunderstood what I said and that I couldn't use it anymore, so she puts me on hold and basically for ten minutes I had to hold while she was explaining what I was explaining on the phone with her to Dr. Bilkis. Which in no fault of her own she was doing her job, but how unprofessional are you as a doctor to have to have her go back and forth with me on the phone telling me just to use whatever he prescribed and to come back in in two weeks. He wasn't responding to my issue at all and I had to explain myself numerous of times on the phone with the front desk and she reiterated back and all he said was continue to use and come back in two weeks. For such a well known Dermatology group I'm speaking of (Morristown) he certainly DOES NOT make them look well at all. He is HORRIBLE which is an understatement. Its really upsetting to me to write a bad review but I was really disheartened by how I was treated and I want new patients like myself who research dermatologists to know NOT TO GO TO DR. BILKIS. I wish I researched and saw the many bad reviews on him instead of just going by my insurance."
