"They were contracted out by a pool company for my inground pool installation 2022 - 2023. They showed up to start digging the trench for the electric underground lines. A lot of equipment problems. But still excellent work for the first day. Employees told me, inspection for the (50+ foot long/9 inch wide/18-inch-deep trench) will be tomorrow. And they will be back tomorrow or the next day. They showed back up 31 days later. When asked why it took so long, I was told they got busy. When asked about if they will fill the trench so my 3-year-old son doesn't fall in. I was told they or the pool company. I said, "but you dug the hole". Same answer. They failed the bonding copper wire around the pool twice! Code is 18 to 24 inches from the water line. They went eighteen inches. I asked the two guys that showed up the second time after the second failure for it, why not go 20 - 22 inches? I was told the inspector interprets the code differently from them. Failed another inspection with the wiring for the pool lights. The wire is exposed to sunlight, and it is not label UV Certified. It needs to be covered. Talked to someone about it on the first call. I was told by the person on the other end of the phone line didn't know the answer. I was told they would find out and call back. I have called back twice since then. I contacted the pool company about it. That first call was 38 days ago as of today. No Call back. Nothing."
