"I would give this place zero stars if I could I am unbelievably disgusted how I was treated. I went on my lunch break to deposit a check from my 401(k) into my account I handed everything to the teller to process my transaction and I was waiting like a good 15 20 minutes at the drive-through so I hit the call button which I don’t like to do because I work for a bank myself so I know what that’s like but I was on my lunch break and I had to leave. The teller comes back and tells me that the check I deposited is coming up not to not deposit because it’s fake. So I go excuse me ?That check is not fake I handed you the stub and I showed you the withdrawal out of my 401(k) on my App from my job. She proceeds to walk away for another five minutes then the manager comes over to tell me that they are refusing my transaction because I brought in a fake check and the best that I can do is either do a mobile deposit or go to the ATM. The check was withdrawal from my 401(k) from MY JOB. I stated to both of the I’m showing you the stub and I showed you the physical withdrawal on my benefits app from my job. And you’re going to proceeded to tell me that my check is fake? And I also work for a bank so why would I do something so stupid as to bringing it a fake check to BANK? I honestly felt like it was because of the color of my skin. I’m African-American woman with A large check. And not to mention, they were absolutely rude not customer friendly at all. I have never felt so disrespected in my life. I will be pulling my money out of here and going somewhere else because I refuse to let. These people disrespect me like that."
"Place is a joke. My online online account was locked. I was told by Wells Fargo Customer Service that I had to walk in to the Matamoras Branch the next day so I can show them my identification. So I drove thirty minutes to this branch to show them my ID. The teller there says only a banker can unlock the account. They only have one of those. So I waited ten minutes while two tellers didn’t have one customer. Finally a “banker” came out and told me she had other appointments and I would have make an appointment for a different day or I can wait and she can try to squeeze me in later on. All I had to do was show my ID. Probably would have taken two minutes of her time. Instead she wasted an hour of mine. No wonder Wells Fargo gets bad press."
"In total agreement with previous posters. Worked for the company for 18 months. They treat their employees like garbage yet expect 1000% from them. Lots of favoritism in this branch. Employees and the customers come last. The almighty dollar reigns."
"As Wayne states they don't have customer best interest in mind. Customer service just as bad. Took my son in to start a bank account, when it was our turn, suddenly some other customer walks in who they obviously knew because they were fawning over him, they tell us to hold on something came up. We sat back down to wait, after 15 more minutes went by we walked out pissed. They never even noticed , too busy laughing and joking with their more important customer."
"As customer, I was never late on mortgage payment for last 9 years, yet these guys rejects my refinancing at a lower interest rate because its will save me money. Did not even have the courtesy to call or email me regarding the rejection. Believe me, when you do business with this bank, they don't have your best interest in mind."
