"I went to Bangor Podiatry in June, and was given a referral for orthopedic shoes. When I called the Hangar Clinic to make an appt I was told that the Podiatrist needed to send her notes specific to what they needed. I must be the first referral Dr H. has ever done for the Hangar Clinic, because it's now September and she still has not sent the correct notes that are needed! I have called the office at least 3 times with this request. Someone is extremely incompetent in this office and I will soon be going to a new Podiatrist. Do not reccommend this office at all! I need to remove this bc I have found out that my Geisinger Health Care is partly to blame. So I have gone from 1 star to 4, because the office is working with me, but like I said, it's an insurance kerfluffle that I am working on. I have finally figured this out, I think, apparently all of the information went to my PCP for her authority. Once she signed a few papers for the insurance company they called me to make an appt. The problem was that no one told me anything about this process until I noticed it had been months. So the moral of the story is "The squeaky wheel gets the grease, but the squeaky wheel can also be replaced" In short everyone is responsible for themselves. This was not Bangor Podiatry's fault completley, and I wish to let that be know for anyone still reading my review! I will return to BP, thanks for helping me figure this out."
"There is a male doctor who works in there that is awesome and so nice and it’s great that this place is local but the receptionist I spoke to today was so rude I’ll never go back. Went there with an ingrown toenail. Paid to have it removed. Went back because it wasn’t healing right. The female dr cut some more of my toe back put some neosporin stuff on it and off I went. Paid for that visit. Toe still isn’t healing right go back and see another dr. He looks at the toe, numbs me up and goes into the side of my toe where he finds a piece of my toenail in my skin that wasn’t fully cleaned out from the initial time I went there. The kicker is they sent me a bill for that visit as well! I’m not paying for a service that I wouldn’t have needed if you didn’t screw up the first and second time I saw you and paid for those!"
"I do not like giving bad reviews and in fact very rarely do. This is the exception. I needed an emergency appointment, I was in serious heel and ankle pain. I could hardly walk but felt I didn't want to waste the time of the hospital. I made the appointment - a week and a half was earliest they could see me. I show up for my appointment and I called the office to let them know I was in the parking lot. To my dismay I was put through to the answering service!! My appointment was at 2:45 pm and they closed the office at noon!!!! No call, no nothing. Unbelievable and unprofessional. I will be going elsewhere."
"Went in with ingrown, infected toenail. Dr. Hope, Lori (not sure of spelling) & the rest of the staff were friendly, made me feel comfortable and at ease. Dr. Hope came in, very bubbly and great personality, and got right to the business of fixing me up. Was out within about a half hour or 40 mins feeling much relief from the pain! Thank you everyone for making my experience a positive one! Stay safe!"
"I am so happy that I became a patient at Bangor Podiatry. Dr. Kathleen Hope is a true professional who not only excels in her profession but has a wonderful personality and it shows that she really cares about her patients. All the staff are extremely friendly and make it a very comfortable environment to be in. I highly recommend Bangor Podiatry to anyone who is looking for a great podiatrist. You will be very pleased."
