"I will not be returning to his office. In all honesty, he was a waste of my time and I was gaslit my entire appointment. The quality of my life has changed greatly. I pleaded with him, explaining I cannot eat anymore at all. I’ve lost a significant amount of weight in a short amount of time. My symptoms are only getting worse- An endoscopy was completed and he determined there was a hiatal hernia but his words “Im not doing the surgery and no one is going to fix it for you” Very arrogant- he is an embarrassment to the medical community."

"This review is not against Dr K. After wasting a night of cleaning my system, I arrived. My covid test came back positive. I was not informed the night before as promised. So I get all prepped. They are just about ready to stick in the iv. They suddenly send me home. A 45 min drive, 2 hours wasted sitting there and taking an unnecessary vacation day is what I got. Not to mention my friend took a vacation day as well in order to drive me. Then the nurse lied to my face. She told me she would call the night before if there was an issue with my test and then denied it."

"We LOVE Dr. Kahlam. I truly can't say enough nice things about him. He is easily one of the most patient and kind doctors I have ever met. I needed my first colonoscopy and wanted it awake. The first GI I saw (different practice) basically laughed me out of his office at my request. I went to Dr. Kahlam and he immediately put my mind at ease. The entire procedure was virtually painless, thanks to Dr. Kahlam. He talked to me the entire time, checked on me after, and personally returned my call several days later to answer some questions. He's currently treating my husband for GI issues and we absolutely think he is the best doctor ever. His office staff is also amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. He also went the extra mile and came in early on his surgery day to help me with a schedule conflict I had because of my two young children. He didn’t have to do that but it made me feel like he truly cared about me as a patient. His Newton surgery center was clean and his staff was warm and friendly. I would throughly recommend him."
