Reviews
"This particular cemetery was close to the road and not fenced in, with a pretty big hill at the road that my 3 year old was tempted to dart down. That was the only downfall. It was clean, open and clearly marked on who to contact if you'd like a plot there. I haven't seen many with that information so I thought it was nice. Not really a review but thought it might be helpful to the right person. Taphophilia is a love of cemeteries. My six year old use to have a big fear of death and growing up in general. Not sure why, she just woke up one day in tears and didn't want me to die or her to die or her daddy and brother. It was heartbreaking. We talked about her fears with her but it was still there. We accidentally found out during a YouTube clip of a halloween cemetery tour that the stories calmed her in a way. Now we stop when we spot one on long rides or if we hear about a cool historic one along the way. She likes to pick someone who's headstone catches her eye and tell us who she thinks they were while we stretch our legs. When I start teaching her how to do research I may let her pick someone to find out their real story like the ghost tours. Bringing the past to life seems to be something she enjoys. I think she may be a history buff when she grows up. β€"
