Reviews of St. Luke's Neurology Associates of Monroe County
"After you get diagnosed, I wouldn't recommend coming back. Especially if you have Parkinson or any type of neuropathy. I was diagnosed with small nerve neuropathy and all they wanted to do was give me depression or psych meds. Another thing, idk where St. Luke's gets their nurses from these days but they must have pulled them out of the slums with 0 attitude adjustment. If someone is coming in for a follow up for something, maybe.. idk.. FOCUS ON THAT. We all can't have ADHD here. Some nurse wanted to make a comment about my weight and go on and on. Ironic considering the fact that most of the nurses at St.Lukes are bigger than I am. Not that it's anyone business but my weight has to do with other issues that have nothing to do with why I was there or why I had what I had, still not 300+ pounds plus like you old raccoons. Should be lucky her face is still intact. For the love of god: STOP-GIVING-PSYCH MEDS-TO NEUROPATHY patients. Send them to pain management!"
"After 2 neurologists and a lot of patience, I have been incredibly unhappy about the lack of care and attention as a Patient. I can echo the same issues some other reviews have already highlighted - Confusion over medication, Lack of appointment availability EVEN during flare ups of issues, Lack of care and empathy from the Doctors; I feel like I still have to do a lot of thinking for my own issues than they will bother to even do. Have felt like I wasted a lot of time giving benefit of the doubt and believing in the facility here, but I am left with just disappointment."
"Would not recommended this place if you have severe pain or neuropathy. I have been going here for 3 years and turns out its a waste. First of all, I don't appreciate the fact that they try to say its my fault when its been proven to be a side effect of a medication. All they did is shock me with some stupid machine and then give me psych meds. Finally one of my other doctors told me to go to pain medicine. Wish it would have been suggested before!!"
"This place SUCKS - go anywhere else u can - my husband has EXCRUCIATING headaches and has had them for 20 yrs - they r now incapacitating - he’s in bed all day and has had to leave work - we r trying to get a prior authorization to try a new medication - pharmacist has called them 3 times - I just tried calling and was told there was a 40 minute wait time on the phone - he needs an MRI but for some reason he can’t have it there and has to go to Bethlehem who cannot c him for a month - I don’t know how physicians can treat patients who r in severe pain like this - HIRE MORE RECEPTIONISTS for Gods sake - this practice has been there for years and it is run horribly - I’d rather drive to Philly or NYC - AWFUL"
"Office is kind of disorganized on figuring out medication and treatment plans sent from the doctors which leaves you confused."
