"Today I’m here for first time with my children, family and friends. I have child with special needs(Autism)they don’t have water play for him and for the little kids and is hard to enjoy exploring the water in big pools or big areas. One lady(staff) request permission for use a little pool and sprinkle water in the members zone and they approve but when I got there few staff denied the entrance sending me go around. So I was disappointed because if you have camp for children and families you have to including the accommodation and adapt places for special needs children. I’m disappointed and concerned about the needs of children to enjoy places like this."
"This place is not good at who they hire as employees. I applied to be a camp counselor for children on the autism spectrum, and I was denied that position. I was ghosted by the company until I had to send a follow-up email. I am a man with autism, and while doing the interview, I explained my story on my life as an autistic person, and I shared what I could provide for this children on the spectrum to make sure they can grow up to succeed in life, and how to embrace their religion in Judaism. Not only that, but I have experience in counseling autistic children before, and I was still denied the job. This offends me as a man who is not only on the autism spectrum myself, but also as a man who is Jewish. This shows that this camp does not practice what they preach, because they refused to hire a person who can relate to this children, and probably chose some high school student who isn't Jewish or autistic who doesn't know what to do in terms of counseling. Eventually, someone reached out and offered to speak with me and possibly offer me a position. I will not accept a position here in the future because this place clearly does not care enough about autistic people to even hire them. I don't recommend anybody who has something to offer to these children applies to work here because they will likely never hire you. I suggest you do some research on other camps in South Jersey, and apply to those places for future summers. If these employees can't relate to autistic children, and can't give them any tips and tools like I can as a man with autism, they shouldn't be hired at all. This hypocrisy is just sad."
"Great day camp for kids as well as lots of weekend and off-season activities for the public"
"You need to tell your patrons or employees to pay attention when they’re pulling out of there. Friday at 5:15, two people, not 1. The first one pulled right out in front of us. We had to slam on the brakes. The second almost hit us while we were right in front of the driveway slamming on the brakes for the first car. We had to swerve so much we were almost off the road. They were coming right at us. Not to mention cars were coming the opposite direction they were pulling out in front of also. I have 3 kids in my car!!! That was careless terrible driving 2 light color hatch backs Fusion and maybe a Subaru."
"For the past few years we have been coming here with our Church. We just love it here, this place is just great. They have swimming pools, they have a lake where you can kayak/paddle boat, inflatable obstacle course, miniature golf and many other activities."
