"I probably would have given this place 5 stars if the trail was maintained. I'm no stranger to unmaintained trails, but this one wasn't even clear where it was supposed to be at and then even if at parts it was, there were lots of unavoidable thorny plants. It seemed to take me out to random roads with houses at some point, so I just turned back and headed through thorny parts again. It's not a big area, so getting lost isn't a huge deal, but it's just very weird that some of it was actually marked to head out to the houses, yet not to go around the pond. You just kind of have to guess sometimes and walk through brush. I hope someone puts up better markings (on trees... not painting the plants!) and clears the thorny parts at least. It was a lovely area otherwise. Someone else was fishing, but I'm guessing not many people often come here. I saw multiple types of birds and also some deer. The entrance had a gate right by Creek Rd, so there is barely enough room for 2 cars to park. I'm not sure if that gate ever opens. It looks like there were tire marks past it, and there was another gate past the first one too, but it didn't seem like there was a way to open the first one at the front. It's not a long walk up that road part to get to the pond though."
