"The Maple Shade Police Department is like watching an episode of Dukes of Hazzard."

"It is a ghost town most of the time. Hours posted are not always what employees actually work so over 50% of the time they are not there. There are no backups so if one employee is out, that whole department is out of service till they return. Forget trying to call or email because neither will get returned. For the most part the tax office and court offices are great, there, and friendly. But if you need anything else like permits good luck. They have 20 days to issue them and would rather wait till the deadline versus working at a pace that would get them done as quickly as other townships. It's no wonder so many people avoid getting permits in the first place. Common courtesy and customer service would go a long way."
