Otherwise, leave that church..." Notes from R.C. Sproul - Ask R.C. My husband, 1 year old, and myself came to Seed of Life. We had felt convicted to leave our former church and were seeking what R.C.Sproul stated above. Two weeks later, COVID shut down in person gatherings. During that season, ministry STILL occured virtually via weekly elder led prayer meetings, livestreamed Sunday services, monthly men's/women's ministry studies, virtual Youtube kids series, young adults virtual meetings, etc. By the time church opened back up in the summer of 2020 (now having transitioned into Haddonfield Bible Church), I was now pregnant with twins trying to figure out how I was going to go back in person without my one year old being disruptive since nursery was no longer an option due to COVID concerns. Multiple members reached out to me encouraging my husband and I in our efforts to train up our 1.5 year old to not be disruptive in the church service. Their overflow room downstairs was an awesome training ground to practice this as we could see the service on the tv. There were only 1-2 other families with little kids who didn't mind the fussiness and walking around that kids may eventually do! One year later, in July of 2021 we finally came upstairs with my now 3 boys. My 2.5 year old had now learned how to sit in the church service without being disruptive, engage in the worship, and shows that he is listening even while working on his ABC puzzle. My 5 month old twin boys were content in their twin stroller listening to the service drinking their bottles. At this point, they now had a nursery area for parents to take their babies or little ones for the kids to be content while still watching the service on the tv. Again with the encouragement and guidance of multiple members of our church, we come to Wednesday prayer nights and Sunday morning services with 3 under 3 boys. My husband and I swap who goes into the nursery with the twin boys weekly. 2 Corinthians 12:9 "But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. This church is a church that lives out Acts 2:42-47. The church stands on the Bible and preaches it with both TRUTH and LOVE. The church has become my family who has shown up to celebrate my highs and pray/encourage me in my lows. Our 45 minute commute is totally worth it!"
