Property Tax Information:

Our property tax bills are mailed once a year, typically in mid-July, and include four stubs for quarterly payments. These bills cover the third and fourth quarters of the current year and the preliminary first and second quarters of the following year. Payments are due on February 1, May 1, August 1, and November 1, with a ten-day grace period. If the grace period ends on a weekend or borough holiday, it extends to the next business day. Please use our current mailing address and do not include any old post office box numbers, as this will delay your payment.

Sewer Bills:

Local sewer bills are sent out annually in February, with two stubs for payments due on March 1 and September 1. Similar to property taxes, a ten-day grace period applies. Ensure your payments are sent to our correct mailing address to avoid any issues.

Tax Deductions and Exemptions:

- New Jersey veterans or their surviving spouses may qualify for a $250 property tax deduction.

- Certain totally and permanently disabled war veterans and their unmarried surviving spouses/domestic partners may be eligible for a property tax exemption.

- Senior citizens, disabled persons, or their surviving spouses may also qualify for a $250 property tax deduction.

Applications for these deductions and exemptions are available online and at our office.

Additional Services:

Court fines can be conveniently paid online at www.njmcdirect.com. We welcome residents to visit our office, but if you’re short on time, payments can be mailed. To receive a receipt, please include the entire bill and a stamped, self-addressed envelope with your payment.
