Saint Joseph the Worker Parish, Saint Vincent Pallotti Church

"I have attended Saint Joseph Parish for years. Always happy. Until recently, Pastor Father Mark made very negative comments about transgender individuals. The comments came out unprovoked. As an LGBTQ individual, I was angered & saddened by these comments. In the past, he has made negative comments about gay marriage as well. Transgender people & all LGBTQ seek caring & acceptance. Not negative put down by church leaders. What happened to Bible teachings of Love Your Neighbor As Yourself and Judge Lest Thou Be Judged? I'm taught we are all made in God's image! I loved Saint Joseph the Worker until recently. Father Mark made me feel unwelcome with his comments. I have to seek out a more welcoming church."

"This church is located as a stand alone building adjacent to the campus of Paul VI High School in Haddon Township. I've attended a few Masses there recently with my daughters family and find the parishioners friendly and I've always receive a warm "welcome" when I am there. The priests who've served Mass are good homilists. My family & I are partial to Fr. Mark since his sermons seem to be less of the serious nature (not fire & brimstone) and more along the lines of giving gentle guidance on how to structure and live a better, more loving God-centered life. I recommend any Catholic stop in on an upcoming Sunday. I'm sure you won't be disappointed."
