Our Achievements

The Bellmawr Fire Department has consistently demonstrated excellence, achieving an ISO Class 3 designation following our recent evaluation—an improvement from our previous Class 4 rating since 1999. This recognition reflects our commitment to maintaining high standards in fire protection and emergency response.

Our Commitment

As one of the most active volunteer organizations in Camden County, we boast over 50 active members and a fleet of 12 apparatus. Our team responds to over 4,000 emergency calls annually, ensuring that our community receives timely and effective assistance. In 2019, our average response time was an impressive 7 minutes and 31 seconds for 100% of calls, a significant improvement from 10 minutes in 2015.

Emergency Management

The Office of Emergency Management at Bellmawr Fire Department plays a crucial role in preparing and protecting our community. We develop and implement comprehensive emergency programs to address disaster mitigation, planning, response, and recovery. Our goal is to minimize the impact of disasters and ensure a swift return to normalcy for our residents.
