About Us

Welcome to New Camden Cemetery, a historic and serene resting place located at the intersection of Mount Ephraim Avenue and Ferry Avenue in Camden, New Jersey. Established over a century ago, our cemetery is a testament to the rich history and diverse community of Southern New Jersey. With gravestones dating back to the 1890s, New Camden Cemetery is one of the oldest Jewish cemeteries in the region, serving as the final resting place for many local leaders, veterans, and community members from various backgrounds.
Our cemetery is thoughtfully divided into 10 sections, including two dedicated Jewish sections, located in fenced-in parcels within Sections D and J. These sacred grounds, covering approximately two acres, are maintained with the support of the Jewish Community Foundation, Inc., which plays an integral role in preserving this important piece of Southern New Jersey's Jewish history.
Visitors are encouraged to explore our cemetery with the help of our overhead map, which can be accessed by clicking here. Whether you are visiting a loved one's gravestone or simply exploring our historic grounds, we welcome you to experience the peace and reflection that New Camden Cemetery offers.
We rely on the generosity of our community to maintain the beauty and integrity of the cemetery for generations to come. Contributions to the New Camden Cemetery Fund are greatly appreciated and can be made by clicking below or by mailing a check to JCF, Inc., 1301 Springdale Rd., Suite 200, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003, with "NCC" in the memo line. We also welcome volunteers for various projects that help preserve the dignity and heritage of our cemetery.
Thank you for your support and for being a part of our community's enduring legacy.
