"Brings back a lot of the good old memories all good ones. A little taste of what though he kinda looks like in a beautiful way but given the out-of-towners the wrong idea of what my city really is about"
"Arrived early for a morning walk by the waterfront before the crowds arrived. Visited South Steet and enjoyed their many shops. Great area to meet people."
"If you're near Head House Hill, do yourself a favor and take a stroll to the east to find this lovely little bridge. It's beautiful brick with lovely views of the Delaware River and Ben Franklin Bridge, also I-76 but we don't need to talk about that. There is a massive sculpture of three figures holding hands and the scale is stunning. In 1763, this area was the southernmost point of Philadelphia and was the start of the Mason-Dixon line that split the country along the 39th parallel. The line would later be used to mark the free north and the slavery south."
"I love Walking onto South Street from Penns Landing. The best view of the Delaware River, Battleship New Jersey and the iconic party street, South Street Philly. I've had many good times eating, drinking, shopping and hanging out here. My son went to the nearby Aveda Institute. Just brought my bestie from Holland, she loved it too!!"
