Reviews
"I like to be fair in my reviews, and I have had 2 experiences with Bordentown court. The first, was a citation. The cops are at least a tiny bit nicer than chesterfield so I will give them that. My second experience was getting something notarized for the state (which a typical notary or bank cannot usually do). Maria was extremely kind and helpful. Thank you!"
"Bordentown municipal court is a joke. The judge should be relieved of his duties. Just because you hold a position of power doesn't mean you can treat people like garbage for minor offenses. Bordentown is definitely one of the tiny speed trap towns. The court must be the only money maker for the town because they will fine you unreasonable amounts for these minor offenses. Shame on you Judge Lange."
"These court people are the worst of the worst"
"When will they actually give us information ??"
"Received a notice in the mail that I neglected to appear for my court date nor pay the fee associated with my speeding ticket from earlier in the year. Only problem? The ticket was filed in Florence Twp court, not Bordentown. How Bordentown got their hands on this I have no idea. Furthermore, when I called the court (of course not on any of the two dozen holidays the court has off), I find that "court is in session on Tuesdays and Wednesdays" and they will not answer calls. So you're telling us that not one employee can sit around to answer phone calls for two entire days during the week? That leaves your only option as leaving a voicemail for them to return. I'll be happy to update my review if they actually give me a call back, but I won't be holding my breath. This is such a perfect example of government inefficiency as well as the ludicrous nature of our justice system at work. This minor speeding ticket that I paid and handled within 48 hours of being pulled over may soon balloon into a massive issue that leads to a suspended license or worse. UPDATE: Happy to report that after calling the court and sending in my "evidence" as to why the ticket was a duplicate, the judge reviewed the case and dismissed the ticket the following week. Another call at the end of that week confirmed the dismissal and that my record was again clear. Still bummed that it had to go this far, but I am grateful to the court administrators who fielded my calls and put this in front of the judge so promptly. Feels good to be driving without looking for cops constantly!"
