"Bordentown City is a gem of history and tranquility. With its pre-American historic buildings and rich heritage, it offers a glimpse into the past. The beautiful sunsets along the Delaware River add to its charm, making it a picturesque destination. The town exudes a quiet, welcoming vibe, embracing artists and simple pleasures over capitalism. Perfect for leisurely dog walks and bike rides, while Farnsworth Ave provides a delightful stroll through its streets. A great escape from the hustle, where nice people and good vibes abound."
"Such a nice town. We went for lunch nearby, then drove thru this historic little town. Lots to see and do and eat plus beautiful homes, green spaces and plenty of history. Today we took a little walk at Thomas Paine Park. Looking forward to returning. Wide paved paths, accessible streets."
"Nice monument to The Father of the American Revolution. His house is not too far of a walk from here."
"Nice dedication statue! Lovely view. Nice benches. Fantastic neighborhood with nice houses. One corner of the park is overgrown and nearly didn't see the hidden plaque."
"Bordentown is a great place to spend an afternoon in. There are a few parks along the river including this Thomas Paine Monument that are very peaceful and beautiful. I highly recommend a stroll through this riverside and take in the history and beauty. Be sure to play your Hamilton soundtrack and play the Schuyler Sisters track to hear the part about "Common Sense" in the song."
