"It just doesn't seem like you're here to help people who have worked hard and now are currently unemployed. I'm at my wits end. How are you guys closed for over 3 weeks smh"

"I have been working at the school in Bordentown for a 3rd party and suppose to claim unemployment on my days off. I have put a claim in for several days and weeks so far and haven't gotten paid. I also got the run around on how to claim since I was skipping weeks. Now summer is next week for me abd my account is locked and I can not put any claims in. I have reached out to the governors office and will be working my way up the chain. Last call I had with someone she said like everyone else that someone will call me within a few days but yet no calls she even stated good luck with getting a call back! This is the worse! During a pandemic with inflation I had to stop payment on bills because I haven't recieved weeks worth of pay."
"I have been trying to get my unemployment benefits since March 20th 2022. It is now June 5th 2022 and still no benefits. I have followed the instructions every single person that answered the phone. I was told to verify my identity for NJDOL via the ID.ME website. Which I did and stupid ID.ME verified my identity for the US TREASURY DEPARTMENT not NJDOL. When I called NJDOL to check the status, again I was told that I processed ID.ME wrong. WHAT THE... So I contacted ID.ME and submitted a grievance on ID.ME website and it generated a message stating that someone will contact me in 7 business days. Landlord, utility, paid., cellphone and cable company don't want to hear excuses. They want to get paid. Yet another reason why people keep leaving NJ."
"I have been waiting for my unemployment since April of this year, I was told that it was on hold due to social security verification. I was told to send in certain information in which I did over 30 times (literally) to both fax numbers and email provided and after checking back in to verify they received it they said they never did, how is that even possible? ... So after 5 months i asked should I just do ID ME which i was told no because it isn't a identity issue but a social security issue. My case has been escalated over 5 times and was told to wait 4-6 weeks then 6-8 weeks, no conclusion. Recently I was told to complete an ID ME verification in which I was in awe because I asked should I have done this 4 months ago and was told no, but I did it anyway and was told to wait 15 days afterwards and that once I was verified I would be sent my money. Guess what? I waited over 15 days to call and be told they haven't received anything from ID ME, go figure. I was told that my case would be escalated once again and that it will now take 8 weeks for an conclusion. I contacted the commissioner on LinkedIn, the state senator office, ID ME has put in an escalation on my behalf to NJDOL and I have a state liaison working on my behalf and still nothing at this rate I probably wont get any funds until next April, maybe."
