"I go partly because it's the only swimming hole in town. Too bad it's often littered with beer bottles, Dunkin Donuts and Wawa single use plastics, and most of the denizens like it that way. On the bright side you get a nice view of the river. If you do visit, please don't be trash and bring your trash out with you."

"New Hope/Lambertville is not the largest town, but even it has its hustle and bustle. When you take a little walk south down the canal path, you'll come to the wing dam. Down the short path to the river sits the dam, extending right out to the middle of the river. There are never too many people here, and after strolling out to the middle you get the wonderful feeling of being right on the river and just a little separated from the urban environment. It's a great view of the towns which are now just a little upriver."
