"Also known as the Schamp Family Burying Ground, this small cemetery dates from the 1700s. The first burial here is that of Maj Thomas Van Buskirk in 1748. The DeMott family cemetery is just across the street yet at least one member of the DeMott family is buried here. A few veterans are buried here. The grounds are in fairly good condition but the flags marking the graves of veterans are in poor condition."
