"Roughly fifteen years ago, I walked into this church for the first time as a life-long Catholic looking to make a change. I had a short list of churches I wanted to vist, and GUCC was the first on the list. As soon as I walked in, I saw someone I knew which immediately put me at ease. It just got better from there. By the end of the service, I knew I had found my spiritual home. I never made it to any of the other churches on my list. Grace UCC is welcoming, friendly, and accepting. There is no judgment here, just love and support. One thing I have always loved the most in this community is how integrated the children are into both the service, and the overall life of the church. Kids who want to participate can help pass the collection baskets, or hold the bread during the service. My nephew once even gave the sermon, on a Laity Sunday (another unique feature of this church, where once a month the congregation runs the entire service, including giving the sermon). At the end of the year, the kids also select the charities that our penny and nickle collections throughout the year will go to. Kids are always welcome to particpate in prayers, and share where they saw God that week. In my previous churches, kids were to be seen and not heard, so I really love that kids have a voice here. Last, but not least, this church DOES NOT discriminate. This was at the top of my list of things I needed in a church. All humans are welcome, all the time."

"I love this church. I think it is the most inclusive, progressive church in our area. From the first day I attended a service, I felt the congregation was very loving and caring. And Pastor Dan is a superb minister. His sermons are always so thought provoking and wonderful. He begins every worship service with "no matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here." That is so true at Grace UCC. Grace UCC is very involved in serving the community. Whenever someone needs help, the church responds. Grace UCC has a reputation for being generous in their attitude and approach to anyone in need. There is never a debate on whether someone deserves to be helped. Their attitude is simply "how might we best help?" The Sunday worship service takes place at 11 am at the Flemington Woman's Center, located at 43 Park Ave, Flemington. The 18 Court Street location is the church office.
