"Clean restrooms for humans a lot of very clean space for dogs to walk and relieve themselves. Good place to also stop and have your lunch or snacks you may have brought with you. They have a lot of cement bench/ table sets, some are covered, but all are more or less covered with lime trees that provided a lot of cool shade. We really liked this stop!"
"Very run down and dirty! I couldn’t believe it. The ladies restrooms was dirty and smelled disgusting. My husband said no hot water and dirty in men’s restroom. This is the worst rest area we have ever been in. We have been married 42 years and have traveled extensively! We are from NC. Sad thing is I have 2 brothers that live in Georgia!"
"Clean restrooms and has a family restroom station. Lots of pinic areas to eat, some minor repairs going on in picnic area."
"A nice and functional welcome center just north of the State line This facility is located on the east side of I-95 just about a mile past the Florida-Georgia border. The turnoff has a wide sweeping turn to the right as you exit. You pass by about 10 covered tables in a grassy area with numerous shady trees before you reach the welcome center and the parking area. There is parking directly on 3 sides of the building for the cars and farther out, but directly in front, for the larger vehicles. The center has obligatory restrooms. They were good and clean. The visitor’s center portion of the building consists of a large room with a small seating area with a TV, a counter, and various racks with brochures of attractions for the different areas around the state. There was a pot for free coffee. There was nobody at the counter to ask questions but there were plenty of brochures and maps around the wall. There was a very nice torpedo on the grass outside the building to pay homage to the Kings Bay Naval base. Very nice display. Getting back on the road going north is very easy although it goes under an overpass which is different from most visitor center exits/entrances. Overall, this was a very nice, functional, welcome center. A good place to stop if you want a driving break as you are headed north into Georgia."
"OVER NIGHT PARKING NOT ALLOWED is written on sign boards. welcome center with welcome sign. welcome center has good information center. very confusing entry and exit to this place. clean rest area with vendor machine, good place to sit and have fun during the journey, seating benches where people can be seen having picnic lunch. noticed night security cameras but overnight parking is not allowed. physically handicapped parking right in front of rest area. clean and green surroundings. not allowed to stay for more than two hours"
