"A great spot hardly used. I wish the parks department could make the trail less thorny the little cut bush are like a knife. I went through with my mountain bike, and I popped a tire. Careful bring your dog there paw might get injured."

"Doesn't feel like a reserve at all it feels like you're walking on a farmer's private property. There are no real trails. It appears you're allowed to walk around the edge of soybean crops that are actively being farmed and most likely sprayed with pesticides and herbicides.the little bit of woodland that's there does not have any trails and does not appear to be open to visitors. Not only boring in walking along a monocrop it also is walking through high grass most of the time because it's clearly not maintained as a hiking path. Not even sure why this is classified as a place to go hiking. Disappointed."

"Schick Reserve is the perfect walking or equestrian experience. The gravel road connecting 614 to Hickory Corner keeps traffic to a minimum. Bordered by farms and fields, the area is full of wildlife and nature at its best."
