"It's bad is trails are very muddy that I literally step on some muddy trails which made me get stuck in the mud a few times which made my new shoes dirty and while walking on the planks I tripped Mutiple times and saw no trail color signs and almost got lost. Go to the pohatcong native creek park trail it is more better."
"Great trail! Peaceful, quiet, plenty of parking and the wooden planks to get over the damp areas are a nice touch!"
"Trails being developed."
"Commenting on the picture: The photo shows a project to build puncheon across wet areas of trails. It was not finished in the picture, so Arlene would have been walking on the stringers which are rarely, if ever, staked to the ground. When the puncheon walkway is completed with cross planks, the walkway will be exceedingly stable and remain in place simply due to its weight. Kudos to the folks building this trail."
"We should have known as soon as we saw the handmade sign that this would be a waste of time! Walking along loose boards covering muddy ground was not fun! Those boards need to be staked into the ground for the safety of hikers. We don’t know how long the trail is supposed to be as there was no indication on either the sign nor the ‘all trails’ listing. We would not recommend this trail if you are looking for a good, long hike."
