"Started banking with truist little over a month ago an due to certain bank policies my account can't receive my check through mobile deposit for 30-90 days without a hold being placed on it wich is fine the problem is they are in desperate need of more employees /bank tellers to assist customers it's a given on Friday having to go in an cash deposit my check it will take 30 min - an hour+ for a 5 min process once the one teller there becomes available an the ones there are great with customers but its an it's easier an faster task to leave truist an cash check at another bank then come bank to truist atm to deposit cash in my account than to go inside an simply deposit money ! I've done it the past two weeks after on my lunch break trying to deposit my check like a normal person It's frustrating i chose truist bc of thinking i would have more perks an resources from a bigger bank an i definitely didnt think i wouldnt be able to walk in deposit money on my break with them without being late back to work on an hour break an not getting lunch you walk in on friday an wonder why every customers face looks aggervated then it immediately noticed that somehow there I only one teller for customers inside an one For river thru they are doing all they can an need help desperately the workers nor customers should have to deal with problems that a bank shouldnt have especially the size of truist no other bank I've used or gone to has this problem I hope the bank reads this along with other reviews an hires more tellers 3-4 should be there especially fridays that seems to be what other banks have available at all times an I'm sure truist can afford it im not sure why this hasnt been fixed $20an hrs base salary by truist for tellers an tellers without experience $18 a simpme job posting would Probably get the positions filled quickly an make banking with truist so much more convenient an not such burden to physically be assisted with banking needs by our bank might even ha customers telling others how they actualy enjoy banking with them instead of people hearing people rant about experience this is my personal opinion on my experience an simply just Want it fixed truist yall see this an other reviews an fix it please!!!"
"Every time I’m here at the Vidalia Branch it is so slow. Today I sat in the drive thru, the only car in line, and waited over 15 mins. I have been using this bank for over a year now and am seriously thinking of moving banks."
"Went to open my son up a checking account and they said I had to make an appointment. Unable to make the time I have tried calling over and over and over again to reschedule. If you get someone to pickup the phone please tell me how you did it. With that said I went in and tried to schedule another time to do this but the line was backed up to the door, so I left."
"I will never use this bank ever again. The people are nice. But the banking system sucks. They always short of help and your money always missing they will close your acct without notice and takes forever to get your money from the account that was close and you take something off your acct. like. Bill. And they still will try to pay it. And then you have to do disputes and takes forever and they will not give the money back. Go to People bank in vidalia they are the best. Any bank probably better than BB&t"
"I'm going to rate them 4 star. Due to anyone returning clients calls no one ever calls us back. When you open acct online you best to the op out on your debit card. That means if you don't and you use your card and you don't have the funds to cover it only if its $2. They will charge you that $2 plus a $37 service charge. And there no way online you can op out. So you best go in the bank take it off. Another thing usually one or 2 tellers are working you have to wait in line at least 20 to 40 mins to get seen. They are very nice people now but just when you need someone to call you back. Very important about your acct. I think they could work little better"
