"The renovation of the Old Jekyll Hotel and the subsequent repurposing of the site for City Works and Utilities is a definite feather in Statesboro's cap. Not only is the historical building preserved, but the atmosphere and space provide an airy, comfortable interior--the antithesis of so many other public works buildings. Easy to navigate and staffed with friendly people, a refreshing change...one caveat though, Statesboro doesn't muck about with payment deadlines, so be sure to pay on time!"
"Called to make a bill and the lady was extremely rude and hung up on me before I could even say what I was calling for"
"If I can give -5 stars I will, The employees that work for this office is the most rude and mean individuals, I have ever dealt with in my life, and the website is worse,I set up a draft date for my bill to come out of my account and they still cut my water off, I get off work at 5pm and they close at 5pm, so me and my family had to go without water, because of the company wrong doing,when I call the next day to talk to them the lady I spoke with was so rude and just demanded money my bill is normally $75.00 but she told me that I had to pay $159.00 to get my water cut back on so I pay it because me and my family can not live without water right , I ask her about the website service she stated that they have no control over the website, I ask if I can cancel the draft that I had set up she told me to figure it out on the website, I paid my bill and call back and told her I paid it and ask if they can cut my services back on she was like yea I will send someone out and then she hung up on me as I was still talking, I then check my account on the website that afternoon and it said $0.00 is due then I check it later around 6:30 that evening and now it says I have to pay $59.00 or the will shut my services off again, this company is outrageous and I have no respect for any of them, I wish it was someone I can speak with regarding this matter. But I feel so freaking defeated this is completely sad to do to your community."
"During the pandemic hours of work are cut if some still have work...so everyone typically has little to nothing to work with. With that being said i had a 55$ bill and paid 25 so i could pay the rest the next following week and they cut my services which by the way is an extra 75$ even after seeing my attempt to pay. So instead of my 35 dollar remainder now its 109$ . Even tho i didnt have it all i put some to it and there should be some type of consideration for families during these hard times"
