"Used this in the past. People were rude. Thank you Remi and Carlie for making my last experience so pleasant. I was a victim of severe abuse done by South Brunswick Police and officals. Those days do not have repeat themselves esp. in an organization that suppose to help women. Again thank you to two beautiful souls Remi and Carlie"

"I made an appointment to donate some very nice clothing to the Lawrenceville, NJ location. When I arrived, the elevator in the building was broken. That was no one’s fault and even though I had quite few items, I had no problem with doing what I needed to do and taking the stairs. I brought the lighter items in first (small bags of sweaters). When I arrived, I told the receptionist that I had an appointment at that time. She was very dismissive and pretty much ignored me. The other lady that was working there asked me if the other items I had were on hangers (as was required, unless it is sweaters), in a tone that seemed to insinuate that she expected me to say no. I assured her they were. It also seemed by their behavior toward me in the beginning, that they assumed I was there to receive clothing, not to donate. When I came back in with the heavier, larger amount of clothing, the same woman told me to put them on the racks that were provided. Because they were so heavy, I had to put them down first. When I did that, she said, sarcastically, “Or just put them there.” I explained that I had to put them down before I could hang them and she suddenly became polite. I will say that there was woman of color working there who had spoken with me earlier. She was very kind. I also must add that I am a black woman. I hope this is not a reflection on Dress for Success in other areas, but I will not be donating to this location ever again."

"I am sure this is a great organization but they don’t make it easy for people who want to donate suites and dresses. Most people who donate work 9 to 5 in the city or NJ and you make it impossible to donate. You should have a late night donation day or open one Saturday of the month."

"I wanted to bring over designer suits and dresses. I was told you have no appointments for the rest of the year and I can't just drop-off. And your one donation day I was told about is mid week when the women who have the clothing your community needs are at work. Im disappointed and will find another organization that appreciates this type of donation"

They were so helpful, nice, determined and taught me so much about dressing as a professional. I was also taught different tips and tricks to outfits which I will definitely be using to my advantage for the rest of my life! Thank you so so much, I couldn't have done it without you!"
