Our doors, along with the Rosenkrans Museum and Van Campen Inn, open to the public during special events organized by the Walpack Historical Society (WHS). These events run annually from Memorial Day through Van Campen Inn Day in October. As the year winds down, join us for our festive Holiday Dinner and Walpack Christmas event.
Walpack Township, located along the Delaware River in Sussex County, is steeped in history, with roots tracing back to the early Dutch miners of the mid-1600s. The township once spanned across what are now Sandyston and Montague Townships, and its history is preserved and celebrated through the efforts of the Walpack Historical Society.

"Historical village preserved in Delaware Recreation Area."
"A beautiful historic church located in a beautiful small town with lots of history behind it. They have different presentations inside the church during the spring and summer months about the history of Walpack and surrounding areas. They also organize hikes occasionally. Join up with the Walpack Historical Society and learn more about this whole area! Inside of the church is incredible to see. Some of the paintings and artwork still are visible on the ceiling. I think everything in there is original which makes it even better. Come visit the WHS and learn more about the church and Walpack."
