Reviews
"Very tidy, organized , and in an old building so really cool layout! Staff is super friendly and helpful."
"Small library but lots to offer. All the librarians that have helped me are full of knowledge and great suggestions. You can order items from other libraries and they usually arrive for pickup the following Wednesday. You can check out free passes to local museums. The building is a little challenging if you are handicap but the librarian is happy to help you. There is a small elevator that goes up to the upper level but not to the bottom floor, no automatic front door and some of the sidewalks in the area are uneven. There is free parking on the street. The building is beautiful and very comfortable to sit and read."
"While visiting New Hope, I stopped in the library on Saturday afternoon. The librarian was wonderful! She gave me a tour of the whole place. There a few George Nakashima pieces and a William Lathrop portrait of the very first Librarian This is a very nice community library full of life and charm"
"A beautiful library full of character and charm. A great place to pick up a movie, music, book or read the Times. The emplyees/volunteers are very intelligent,, kind and friendly. A perfect hide out on a rainy day."
"Spectacular renovation of the borough library. The renovation was completed in early 2016 and as of April 12, 2016 the shelves are fully stocked. New since the renovation is a Dremel 3-D printer. The Nakashima furniture remains in the upper level reading room and a lift has been added to ensure access to the basement children's area, the main level, and the operating room."
