Electrify America Charging Station

"These stations have been breaking down so often that it could be a meme. I will say that in the princeton area there are a lot of (non tesla) ev vehicles, and there is only one electrify station for miles. Every Saturday, there are at least 4 cars waiting for a pump. There needs to be at least 10 like the ones near the Wal-Mart location's or build another station near another mall or take over the vacant parking lot that used to be AMC theater Hamilton. Their needs to be a bigger location with multiple chargers in case of break downs. Ps: There were only three chargers working. The fourth was unavailable. Ps.Ps. a week later today's date, the 3rd of Nov getting 26kw's max. It's terrible what happened to the up to 150kw? Jan 29th, charger 1 maxing 37kw, charger 2 is maxing 24kw, and charger 3 is maxing 25kw, and 4 is maxing 61kw. Is it a good start to the new year? Ah, no, it isn't. This whole month has been a nightmare for this specific location (this location needs Porta John's). Electrify those 350kw chargers. Hopefully, they will get here sooner rather than later and are reliable. April 2. All four chargers are being used, and 5 cars are waiting in line to charge. Again, this location is ev heavy traffic just to charge. This location desperately needs 350kw and more than 4 chargers. Today, April 17th, charger 1 is not connecting, charger 2 offline, charger three is taken over by an out of state vehicle, so you know they want to get to 100%. Charger 4, thank goodness it is a local NJ vehicle. But the same problems and issues remain in this location. Slow, broken, long waits and only 4 chargers in an EV heavy location. NEED MORE CHARGERS! May 13 is truly a dark day for electrify customers. Charger 1 unavailable. Charger 2 inoperable. Charger 3 and 4 are the only ones working. How bad is the wait time to charge..... 7 CARS for TWO working chargers. I'm not going to beat this dead horse any longer, FIX THE PROBLEM. EVGO is the only alternative in this area. Unfortunately, they have their issues, too. May 21st, It's the worst I've ever seen of this location. Not one or two stations being inoperable, but three out of four machines are inoperable. Only one station is available to use. More people need to voice concern. Good luck to all who live in this area. Electrify what is going on???? Aug 7th, charger 3: Who knows why? And charger 4: unavailable. Charger 2: low power. 5 cars waiting and 3 cars charging. Terrible!!!"

"If you have the charge to spare, go to the East Brunswick location because these are always broken. There are only 4 chargers at this location, two of which charge at about 28kwh speeds. They are constantly breaking at this location. This is the closest location to me and I actively choose to not go here because it's always a poor experience. I spend more time calling Electrify America support than I spend actually charging at this location. Work orders about broken chargers here go months without being fixed. It's such a bad experience that it actively makes me reconsider getting an electric vehicle. Once the subscription provided to me by the car dealership ends I will be avoiding any and all Electrify America charging stations."

"The wait time at this location is at least 2 hours. The charging stations don't work half the time. And when it does only 1 of them charges fast. A fight almost broke out because people were cutting lines. It's ridiculous that you pay a membership fee and they don't have to ability to create more stations."

"After experiencing slow charging speed and learning from other EV owners that this location has been experiencing this problem for many weeks I reached out to corporate EA (not customer service) on 10/4 to share my frustrations of broken chargers and slow charging speed. To my surprise I got a call from EA customer loyalty today informing me that EA is dispatching a service team to fix the problems next week and EA will also follow up with me afterward. If you are a frequent user at this location please post your good or bad experiences. Btw, I am just a frustrated EV owner sharing my experience dealing with large corporation… so far I am impressed that EA is interested in my experience with their network and will post an update when I hear back from EA in the next few weeks."

"Surprisingly on my visit all four chargers were functional. The low stars are because one available charger was positioned in a way where it would not reach the rear passenger side charger input and I was unable to connect. The second charger worked but I was getting 24 kw of charging. The last charger worked good and I received an average of 110kw."
