Nestled in the heart of Califon, New Jersey, at 472 County Road 513, our family-owned business has been delighting the community with farm-fresh produce and charming country store favorites for nearly 300 years. As the largest apple grower in New Jersey, we proudly cultivate over 650 acres, including 120 acres of fruit trees and thousands of peach, nectarine, plum, and apple trees.

"Loved this farm! Cheap entry fee and we got to sample some yummy heirloom tomatoes too :) corn maze was open as well as pick your own peaches, nectarines, apples, and sunflowers. Farm store had a good selection as well!"
"We had a really nice time at this farm. We planned a childrens church outing, and Melick's is a rather short drive from the city. They had plenty of room, lots of trees to enjoy, and a nice country store for jams, vegetables, fresh corn and of course, peaches. My only ask would be a little explanation regarding what is there, variety-wise, and whats best-ready at the time of the visit."
"Visited this farm many times . For many years.We always enjoyed it until this time. We payed the entrance fee , picked the peaches. My daughter weighed her peaches and was not looking at scale. When my daughter ask how many pounds it weighed- the (woman)clerk told her 1/2 lbs more than what it showed on the scale. I was watching the numbers. The peaches got weighed again and correct weight was entered without either of us saying a word. When it was my turn to put peaches on the scale my 5 year old granddaughter took one peach out just as I was lifting the bag to put it on the scale. To my surprise the clerk behind the counter scolded her demanding for her to put the peach back in the bag. She got very embarrassed and ready to cry. She could have had a peach in the orchard - but she was good and listened not to. Not a big deal but this spoiled our entire experience today at this farm."
"I stopped here for the apple cider and ended up buying a few delicious goodies. The apples are delicious, fresh and crispy. The apple ciders donuts were tasty, and the apple cider juice was refreshing. I also bought a flower bouquet that looked amazing in my house. Good prices. They can work on making their cashiers a bit faster. Other than that, it was perfect."
