"Always something family- friendly, fun, and educational. The staff really love children and go out of their way to make them feel at home around books."
"I love the Warren county library! It is a beautiful new building kept clean and organized. The staff is friendly and helpful! They have so many different classes and events that happen there especially over the summer for the kids."
"The library is finally fully open from being shut down for months due to Covid. Thought it would be a nice treat to stop and grab a movie on my way home from work. I arrived at 5:50pm and the sign on the door said they closed at 6 on Fridays(cutting it close but I would just have to pick a movie out quickly.) Walked to the door and went to go inside and the doors were locked. Through the window I can see librarians sitting at the check out desk. I understand the desire to go home at the end of a long day at work, but if your hours of operation are 9 to 6 you need to remain open until 6! The library was closed for months, yet we were still billed for the service through our taxes and now that its open again the workers refuse to let people in up until closing time. To put it bluntly, the library staff basically went a year without having to service customers inside and also had several months where they were off(presumably receiving the extra $600 a week through unemployment which is more than most essential workers make.) If you are open until 6pm, let us in and DO YOUR JOB. -The taxpayers"
"We stopped in for some books for the kids, but got much more. They had a chance to color, build Legos, take out movies, and build crafts at an event going on. The staff was nice and eager to help."
"Maybe I am showing my age but when did libraries stop being those nice quiet places where people speak in hushed tones and you could sit and enjoy reading? The last few times I have been there children were running around screeching as loud as they could. Mothers sat and chatted with each other and I could hear every word they said 3 aisles over. The staff wasn’t bothered at all. So is it me? Just wondering."
