"Nice quiet trail with lots of options. Good for families. Some trails may be grassed over or overgrown but nothing too horrible. There are a few trail markers missing or confusing."
"Beautiful and clean. There is a trail and lots of shade."
"Yellow trail runs close to the creek, for the most part surprisingly quiet, not hugely overgrown, and quite beautiful. I found the (unofficial?) entrance / exit behind Frenchtown Villa Apartments (opposite Lovin' Oven) useful. Orange and red trails cut into the forest, are quieter, more overgrown, and not as easy to follow. But getting lost in the forest is a treat anyhow."
"Some really nice trails but they are not always clearly marked. Be sure to wear orange during hunting season. This seems like a popular place for hunting. There are a variety of habitats including hardwood forests, an almost pure stand of Eastern red cedar, and Meadows. There are a couple of creeks that traverse the preserve as well. Be sure to download the trail map from njtrails.com as they no longer have maps at the preserve."
"Lovely forest setting with nice trails."
