"Beautiful spot by the river. Sunset views are gorgeous. Great place for drumming."
"Nice quiet chill spot!"
"Lovely place for a sunset"
"Right next to the canal trail. Has some benches and a small grassy area. Good spot for a picnic"
"Park is right next to the D&R cana trail. If you are facing the bridge, lot is on your left side just before you cross (there is also in town street parking) Decent amount of parking and a few porta potties. The park itself is a fairly small grassy area next to the Frenchtown Inn...I believe thats the name. It has a few benches but the trees block your view of the water and bridge. Best place for a better view is the benches within the parking lot area close to the water. There is also elevated picnic tables in the middle of the lot, left side on top of the grass. I was told when the water is not high, there is an 'island' you can walk out on and people fish from that area. There is a pedestrian walkway along the bridge which has great views and good sunset viewing! Enjoy the quaint little down and wait for the sun to set. The water was super high from hurricane Ida and I watched a tree pass underneath the bridge which was pretty cool! Will be back to get some more vegan food from one of the shops!"
