"The manager Tre and the Regional Management of this branch should be flagged with Enterprise Corporate. I went to pick up my car at 12pm on July 1 as per my reservation, which I'd confirmed by phone when they called to confirm the weekend prior. I arrived and Tre was convincing two separate elderly customers that their car insurance was cheap and encouraging them to call their respective insurance providers to beg for a bigger car (something that would in turn, get more money for her Enterprise branch). I had to wait 45 minutes while these two people sorted through their car insurance providers. Meanwhile, Tre was texting on her personal cellphone or whispering them things to tell their providers ("tell them you pick up grandkids from daycare every day"). I had asked Tre at some point if I could please get my car, and I mentioned I'm an Executive member in the Emerald Club. She said her branch doesn't recognize the Emerald Club program (which is an outright lie seeing as part of how I hit Executive status was with the thousands of dollars in rentals I had last year at this very branch). When I returned my car, I received no receipt, so I called to confirm my car was checked back in. Tre asked if I was 100% satisfied, I told her no, and I reminded her of the check-in experience. She apologized that I "felt that way," which is not even an actual apology. She offered me a 5% refund on my booking, which was like... $18. I told her that was insulting. She asked me what I wanted, I said $100 felt fairer. She then started negotiating like a used car salesmen, which I asked why she was taking this position seeing as I've been renting from them for years and have literally never complained. She told me she'd be sorry to lose me as a customer and hung up. I never got the $50 refund. I followed up with Enterprise's 1800 number. 4 different representatives said they logged the issue for the Regional Management to address on priority. One of the reps even stated that Tre sounds like a narcissist and that her behavior with the elderly customers was not tolerated by Enterprise. Not a single person from Enterprise's Regional Management team has contacted me to date, and I've been following up for 2 weeks now."
"I use Enterprise when extended family comes to visit. They have always provided me with great service. Luke, in Wilmington, Delaware was exceptional attentive and helpful this last rental. He was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Thank you Luke!"
"This was second time using this location for my rental needs and Tre was fantastic! She had a glowing personality and was eager to help. When I picked up my rental it was a Honda CRV she apologized for no sedans and said they would call if one came available. Told her not to worry because whatever she gave me that day would be what I would keep until I got my car back. The gas refilling charge was $2.98 a gallon, much cheaper than the $3.68 a gallon at shell. Overall another excellent experience with Enterprise!"
"I don't rent cars very often! Tre said she would take great care of me, and she did! The entire process was smooth and easy! The car was great! I will definitely do this again! Thank you Tre!"
"Rented from Enterprise Philadelphia Pike last month. I was totally disappointed in the vehicle they provided me. As soon as I drove off I realized multiple issues that made my driving experience an unpleasant one. First there was the smell of smoke. The previous, or, a previous driver was clearly smoking in the car. As a non-smoker you can smell it a mile away and there is an unpleasantness the whole time you are driving it because of the smell of smoke. Second, the inside windshield was so dirty I had to clean it myself with windex and paper towels, and it took some work to get it clean. It was as if the smoke had the windows up and the smoke accumulated on the inside of the windshield. It was bad enough to obstruct my vision some. I had this experience before. They don't bother to clean the inside of the windshield and a film builds up. This actually makes the mid-day sun glare worse. Third, the sound system was horrible, the worst I've ever had in a rental! I didn't realize they still made car stereo systems that sounded that badly, but they do and this car, a Hyundai Kona, had it. As an audiophile it was torture! Fourth, it was given to me with a 1/4 tank of gas. So basically you end up leaving more gas in there than what you were left with to make sure you don't get dinged with expensive gas charges. This was especially problematic because my car was in the shop longer than expected. I had to stop and get gas every day because I didn't want to fill up the tank and then be told by the auto body shop that your car is ready because then you just gave Enterprise $25-$30 in free gas and you know they aren't going to credit you that money. I was asked why I didn't bring it back and the answer is because I was busy and didn't have time to go through the hassle of waiting to swap out a new car, do the walk around, and sign new paperwork. I was only supposed to have the car for three days tops but it took longer than expected. So that was my experience. I let them know and the manager apologized and was like if you ever need a car, let us know, we'll take care of you. Needing to leave my car at the car stereo shop a few weeks later, I called the manager and was offered an F150 for like $100, or something like that - certainly not anything that resemble taking care of me. So there you have my honest, unbiased review of my experience with Enterprise. Given the bad experience, it's unlikely I will rent form them if I have other choices."
