"This used car lot posts their used trucks/cars on "Offer Up" which is where I found a truck they were selling which I was interested in. After a short banter regarding the truck, he stopped answering some important questions. I must add this lot is approximately 45 minutes away and in rush hour traffic, much longer. So, I proceeded to keep my word and go view the truck and messaged him as such. While I was on my way, all of a sudden, I finally get a phone call from this shop claiming they were "TO BUSY" to answer my questions. I proceeded to ask the question "WAS THE TRUCK IN ANY ACCIDENTS?" Now, I'm literally 10 minutes down the road coming from Princeton, New Jersey.....he answered my question "I DON'T KNOW, I bought it and i just DON'T know. I assumed the truck must have been in great condition, however, when I got there, the trucks hood had one MAJOR gap on the left side and a small GAP on the right. That was just the beginning of the condition this truck was in. Scratches, bumper peeling away etc. Now I'm not a mechanic nor am I in the auto business, I'm a 49 year old woman who works for the government and I CAN TELL THE TRUCK WAS IN AT LEAST ONE accident, if not two bad ones. My question to this place is "YOU KNEW, WHY DID YOU WASTE MY TIME?" I literally asked this guy not to waste my time as I was coming from far away. I'm almost tempted to do screen shots of my messages back and forth with this guy. Customers "BE WARNED!" If you know nothing about trucks/cars be sure to take a mechanic to look it over! I'm assuming he thought I was uneducated and try and convince me to buy a truck/car off his lot. I walked on the lot and off in 1 minute! He watched me as I walked away shaking my head. All of the trucks/car looked horrendous (at least on this particular day)! I'm assuming these are all trucks/cars from auctions. Heed my warning! Waste of TIME!"
