"Did not like the experience with zipcar. I went to nyc for business few weeks ago and got a zipcar. One of my worst days in a long time. First I got the car then it wouldn’t open. Do I had to walk to a new location. Mind you am in Brooklyn on foot! I walked about 11 blocks to the next car only to discover it won’t open for me just like the first one. Now I got to walk to a new location to get another one. At this point I have been walking for about a hour and a half. Finally, one that works! So happy I could start my day and do what I want to do. After my second stop I went to get something to eat. I spent about 30 minutes then went back to the car, only to discover it wouldn’t start. I then reached back out to zipcar for help. The service I received was not great at all. Then they try to charge me for a toe-truck as if I did something wrong. I refused to pay for that service and demanded a full refund. I got some of the money back from zipcar, but they decided to cancel my membership. This happens because zipcar use signals to get in and out of the cars. If it’s not picking up then your out of luck!!!"
