"Off the beaten path and with few visitors, but with well kept trails and a beautiful section of Spruce Run. Also has a pretty pond with some beavers that I think have caused some problems for the caretakers."
"Great spot along the Spruce Run. I’ve lived in the areas for over 25 years and was never on some of the back roads to get here. The park is located on an old Boy Scout camp with plenty of trails for exploring. I recommend checking out the map before and keeping it on your phone for reference throughout. My favorite spots were the view up the creek from the main road (fall colors were unreal) and the stone house that seemingly popped up out of no where. An absolute treasure. So thankful this is part of the Hunterdon County Parks System."
