"Bought my first Tacoma and what great people there! Our sales person Justin was amazing. He is honest and generally cares about your wants/concerns. Great deals and great vehicles there. #1 Toyota dealership I ever been too"
"I am writing to express my complete dissatisfaction with the service I received at Dayton Toyota. I had scheduled an appointment earlier in the week for an oil change on Saturday at 8:30 am. I had 3 text messages and 2 calls through out the week to confirm my appointment. However, my truck was taken from the drive-in bay and left in the back parking lot for 1.5 hours before any service was performed. The service was not completed until 11:00 am, 2.5 hours after my scheduled appointment time. Furthermore, the printout indicated that a tire rotation was completed, but upon inspecting my tires, it is clear that none of them were rotated. When I inquired about this, I was informed that the technician could not remove the lug nuts due to rust. This is puzzling, as the tires, wheels, and lug nuts are less than six months old and I maintain my vehicle meticulously. Instead of listing the tire rotation on my receipt, an associate should have explained the situation to me, especially considering I had been waiting for 2.5 hours. Had I not checked the tires upon receiving my vehicle I would have walked out believing they were rotated as the receipt stated. I expect a higher standard of service and clear communication."
"For anyone considering the Pre-Owned 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime SUV | Color: Red | Stock: X4493A | VIN: JTMAB3FVXMD036344 Last week, I visited Dayton Toyota determined to purchase the above pre-owned vehicle. Eric, one of their sales rep, helped me out. The car I was interested in wasn’t at the lot because the Manager was “demo-ing” the vehicle and wouldn’t be able to get back onsite for 1.5 hrs. I thought this was strange but kept pushing forward because of my interest in the car. I test drove similar vehicles and returned later in the evening to see the actual car I was interested in. When I finally got to see the car, it was as if I pulled up to a house from a listing on Craig’s List to check out a car being sold by an individual. There was no Buyer’s Guide sticker displaying vehicle information, a legal requirement under the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and, to my bewilderment, the car was full of the Manager’s personal possessions (among them various carpentry tools including what appears to be a saw). The interior was covered in what I can only presume to be sawdust. In reviewing the car fax, the dealership assumed possession of the car at 32,756 miles but the odometer read 33,748 miles; an increase of 992 miles. As a cherry on top, it was clear the Manager wasn’t very interested in selling the car demonstrated by his rush to take the car back and rigidity around working through a deal. I know we’re all feeling the effect of economy/inflation right now but no consumer should accept this behavior especially for a vehicle with an asking price of $34,995. I called Toyota Corporate and shared my experience; tbd on if something will come of it. Unprofessional doesn’t even skim the surface. Tread carefully if you’re thinking of purchasing this or any car at Dayton Toyota."
"I have purchased two vehicles from Dayton Toyota and have had my cars serviced here multiple times. However, my experience today was less than pleasant. I scheduled a service appointment for a routine oil change, which typically takes about 40 minutes. Despite this, I ended up waiting close to three hours. To add to my frustration, when I inquired about additional services they suggested, I was not provided with an itemized sheet because their system was down. When I asked to take a picture of the information to review it later, my request was denied. This made it difficult for me to make an informed decision regarding the recommended services. It was incredibly frustrating not being able to access the necessary information due to their system issues. Moreover, I was disappointed that the management and leadership at the dealership did not step in to support their associates or address customer frustrations. Instead, they seemed to remain in their offices, leaving the associates to handle the situation without adequate support. Toyota, please do better. Value and respect your customers' time and money. For a company with a $320 billion market cap, addressing these issues should not be an insurmountable challenge."
"Keven Andino, my salesman is the most professional salesman I have ever dealt with. His professionalism, knowledge and skills sets him above all. I never had a salesman who was able to answer all my questions about the vehicle I was purchasing. I am pleased to purchase a car without any pressure from salesman or finance people and I thank Dayton Toyota for that kind of experience. Kevin, it was with great pleasure to get to know you and to appreciate your knowledge about the Toyota vehicle I purchased. You should be proud of yourself, thank you. Emilio"
