"Booked a car last night and their system accepted it. Then got a call this morning that they had 'no cars available.' It's 2024, not 2004 - if this location is still running a system that requires human verification of available cars, then they are majorly impacting their customers (like me) and deserve one star. Now I have to go find another rental car last minute. Will do my best to avoid Hertz in the future."

"Not a standard Hertz office. This particular location shares space with an auto sales /service repair business. Not a very welcoming environment. Waited for 20 minutes before the Hertz agent came into the office... Car was not clean inside, traces of animal hair throughout, sticky substance on dash/radio screen, and children's toys left in the trunk... It was disturbing that the car was dirty, especially considering there is still a pandemic... luckily I had lysol spray and wipes with me and could clean again before entering vehicle. (Not possible to get a replacement because they don't have additional inventory onsite). The car should have been cleaned thoroughly considering there is a sign posted warning that an additional $400 will be charged for detailing if their is pet hair or other stains in the car... It was quite disappointing as a Gold Member..."
"I reserved a car online during the week 2 days prior from reservation received a call 45 mins before my pick up time that they have no cars available for my 5 day reservation and cancelled my reservation. I asked what can I do next the employee told me to call reservations and I called they told me I will not receive the same price in rentals to pick up from another location. To me that completely unfair and unprofessional I reserved the car I should be able to get the car and not have to struggle the day that I leave to find another place due to lack of efficiency at this place. Don’t advertise what you don’t have."
"If I could give this place zero stars I would. They presented me with a car that was not clean, and still had things in it from the previous renter-they also didn't go over the policy or contracts-they told me their "signing machine" was broken and to simply "sign here" and that they would cover the important things. They never informed me that if the car was brought back without a full tank of gas I would be charged $9.99 a gallon. They then never informed me there was a fee that was going to be charged to my CC-they simply charged my card near $160.00. When I called to ask about the charge, they were rude, and promised to follow up with me and still have not. I will NEVER use this company or location again-rude, shady, and failed to present all the information upfront."
