"This place is a joke. Dirty, dingy office. I came in to pick up a truck I had reserved over the phone a few days prior before through their other office. I tried to call in multiple times to confirm the reservation, get some questions answered, no one picked up or returned my calls. The lady checking me out was on the phone with her boss getting step by step instructions on how to rent me a truck. It took 20-30 minutes for them to figure it out. No apologies or anything. Finally go out to look at the truck, it has only one e-track on each side. The plywood protection on one side is pulling off the wall. Sand on the floor. Steering wheel is sticky, whole thing felt so gross I had to stop at a gas station to get some wet wipes. 10 days later, they still haven't refunded my deposit, so again I call another location to get it resolved. This place is close to me, but I'll always drive to a different Penske location from now."

"We picked up a 15-seater van for a couple of days. Rear A/C keeps blowing hot air thru the feet (not warm, like literally hot) during highway speeds, in a middle of the summer so just imagine. Front A/C fan keeps blowing air in a rotating manner, thru vents, windshield, feet, and comes back thru the vents and the cycle goes on. A/C knobs at the front doesn’t work as it should be. We called them about the problem, a lady answered and asked her if we could get like a discount or something, and she said she’ll make a note about it. As I came back to return the van, i told the man about the problem and he just told me that he just got the A/C fixed, and if I want my receipt thru email. That’s it?! Maybe the place doesn’t even know what customer service means? If you’re renting a passenger van, just beware."
