Dave's Hot Chicken

"Dave’s Hot Chicken is my go-to spot, and I love how conveniently located it is. The place is run efficiently, and the restaurant is always clean. I’ve tried almost every heat level, and ‘hot’ is my sweet spot—the seasoning is on point and pairs perfectly with the sides. While I’m not a fan of the mac and cheese, and I find the milder flavors lack seasoning, the overall experience and great service keep me coming back."

"Food was prepared fresh and didn't take long. Food quality was good, and the person working was enthusiastic and helpful. It's got a nice ambiance, small parking tho. The only issue really is the amount of food that you get. I saw the meal for a sandwich, a tender, and fries, for 13.99 and wondered if that would be too much for me. I could have eaten two of their "meals," and I'm no fatty. The chicken was good and in the typical Nashville hot style, but it was barely any chicken and all breading. This was more like a snack. It was half of a handful of fries, which was deliciousable(Jones BBQ) but they were not many. I yeah I'm reluctant to call it a handful of fries. They must have kids working back there or some tiny people. I know I wasn't blessed with large hands, but I'm sure if that is the norm I would certainly stand out in more ways than one. PS, I love spicy food, but stick to the hot and don't worry about the reaper chicken. I got an extra piece to try and unless you like to punish yourself don't do it. It was good, but fair warning it is quite hot. Again, food flavor is good but the amount of chicken and fries is lacking. It's worth trying but I wouldn't be a regular customer."

"Dave’s opening shows a great new direction for the fast food industry in the greater Philadelphia era. The trio of Assad’s, Canes, and now Dave’s reflects the great options now available to South Jersey. I think the best way to review Dave’s is in comparison to Canes, the closest chicken place to the new Cherry Hill location. When it comes to the quality of chicken, Dave’s shines brightly. Each piece was juicy and tender, with the spectrum of spice options bringing inclusive options for those who both love and detest spice. In comparison to Canes, which needs sauce to be good, Dave’s chicken shines even without sauce. When held up against Canes, Dave’s fries are excellent. They have a good amount of flavor and tasted fresh and crisp. The inclusion of pickles also tied together the flavors perfectly. By far the best menu item at Dave’s was their slider. When cheese was added, this was the perfect combination of flavors. The food is also affordable, with a high quantity of food coming at a reasonable price (when held up to other fast food options). Lastly, the wait was not too long, with the food certainly justifying the wait. My biggest complaint is that I was unable to order ahead on the app, which greatly diminished efficiency."

"I’ve been waiting for years for a Dave’s to open up in South Jersey, and I’m so glad we finally have one. This place is amazing. I got the #2, 2 Light Mild Sliders, with cheese and Dave’s sauce, and upgraded the fries to cheese fries. The chicken is nice and juicy, cooked perfectly, and pairs amazingly with the sauce. If you don’t like spice but still want some seasoning for flavor, go with the Light Mild. The fries are also great. Crispy, seasoned, and even better with cheese. The total for my meal was $17.55. The price may seem expensive, but for the amount of food you get I think it’s pretty reasonable. However, an included small beverage or something like that could definitely help justify that price even more. Overall, I’d definitely recommend and will for sure be back again."
