Reviews of Philly Pretzel Factory
"I ordered a pretzel tray on Wed for Sat. I even paid for it on wed. I go to pick it up at the time requested and they can not find my order. the five people working there are scrambling around and I hear an employee say they gave my tray to the people who came in before me! they rearrange a tray from the back, who nows how long it was sitting there, to give me. its ok but since it was old and cold and the pretzels had no salt left on them I assume it had been there for a while."
"Can't think of what to bring to the office, or school, or a party, or home? Bring pretzels. Everyone loves them, especially when they are fresh and hot. Placed an order for 40 pretzels and they baked them as I waited for them. Took only about 5 minutes. Add some dips or mustard and you're golden!"
"Worst service I have ever experienced. I ordered a tray a day ahead of time and after waiting a half hour past my pick up time at the store I realized they haven't even made my order yet. When I asked how long it would be I was told a half hour. Will never order from there again."
"I love philly soft pretzel and every single store I've ever been in has been awesome except for this one. Every time I order, the unfriendly staff has messed up my order and I've had to wait for them to fix it. I like the everything pretzel rivets and they just don't ever put on enough seasoning so they just taste plain. Maybe a few poppy seeds but nothing else for the most part so they don't taste that good. I called 10 times when I placed my order and then had to go to the store because no one answered the phone because the employees didn't even realize their phone was off the charger and the battery was dead. Then when I picked up my order, it was cold and the guy who gave it to me and when he put the lid on, he literally trapped a fly inside of it and handed it to me without even looking at the order. They always leave their door open so their are about a million flies in there all over the food. It amazes me that Philly soft pretzel company allows this store to run the way they do and as much as I love Philly soft pretzel, I will never go to this store again."
"I have been enjoying soft pretzels as long as I can remember whether it was a special treat when Christmas shopping at the EJ Korvettes shopping center in Audubon or grabbing a few at the Twin Kiss ice cream stand in Clayton as well as the ones outside the Spectrum and Veterans stadiums. I was glad when I started to see Philly Pretzel stores popping up around South and even a few in Central Jersey. It was real good when one opened up only about 10 miles from home in an area I would travel through at least once a week but more often if work took me near it. Unfortunately that store closed a few years ago so my getting any pretzels is a lot less often than it has been in the past. One of my favorite things to get is a strip of the 5 mini pretzels where I will eat one and take the other 4 home and take a knife and split them into 2 rolls or buns such as you would have to make a sandwich. That is what I do with them then is usually fry up a couple eggs, some sausage or bacon add some cheese and have a good sausage egg and cheese pretzel. I was however disappointed that when I came in with that being my plan to see that all they had were the regular ones that although it is still possible to make a sandwich it just isn't the same. I still bought a strip of 5 regular and thought my kids would eat them but after I ate my one they only ate one more so the next day I had 3 stiff ones that I put in the freezer to try to figure out something to use them for, maybe stuffing or turn them into bread crumbs for filling or whatever when making meatloaf."
