"We moved to Somerset County about 4 years ago and have had a hard time finding good ramen. This place opened up recently and we finally got an opportunity to try it out and it did not disappoint. The Tonkatsu broth was absolutely delicious and flavorful. The staff was very friendly and sat us right away. We couldn’t be happier to finally have a good local ramen spot and will certainly be back."

"Got the recommendation from a friend on Friday, so we came on Sat, and we left Happy ^_^ We had golden salmon temaki, tonkatsu ramen, and black jack (featuring the black garlic oil). Everything was Delicious!!! The decor was modern and clean. The service was great and quick, especially Jacob, a nice young man w/ great energy ;) We came around 6:30, and they were like 80% full. By the time we left around 7:15, they’re all filled. Keep up the good job! We’re so happy to find a really good ramen restaurant nearby (10 miles). We will be back to try the other appetizers that were not available today."

"It is not the best ramen I’ve had in central Jersey, but it is decent and quick. The service is friendly and attentive. Seems like a nice group of people that run this place. It is good for a quick lunch but I would not have high expectation. My standards might be skewed however since I just got back from Japan."

"So i live close enough to walk here and have been waiting for the day RamenYa opens. Was happy to be one of the first customers at open today and was i was not disappointed. I’ve had more than my fair share of ramen around the country and even Japan and RamenYa is very high on my all time lists, certainly the best anywhere in a 45 minute drive. I had the black jack ramen which was very full body and delicious. The ajitsuke eggs were perfect and the charsui (pork) was great. I also had a the Tuna tamaki which was very good too. I can’t wait to be back again…and again and again."
