"5 stars at all times! I come in frequently for sports cards/ tcg and always have a great experience. Athena is always super helpful and extremely pleasant! Highly recommended"
"Dear GameStop Corporate Office, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the customer service I received at your Glassboro, NJ location (Store #4987, Collegetown Shopping, 721 Delsea Dr N) on June 30, 2024, at 12:47 PM. I have been a loyal customer of this store for over five years and have never encountered any issues until my recent interaction with one of your employees, Athena (employee number 709903). On the aforementioned date, I visited the store with my 9-year-old daughter to reward her for achieving honor roll this school year. Unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant. Athena was unhelpful, rude, and rushed us throughout our visit. During checkout, she informed me of a five-dollar coupon I had in a condescending tone, repeatedly emphasizing it until I felt compelled to clarify that I understood what a coupon is and was considering whether to use it for a single purchase or multiple items. Ultimately, I decided to purchase one game and use the coupon. However, Athena's behavior continued to be discourteous as she scanned the game and then tossed it onto the counter in a manner I found disrespectful. I would have preferred if she had handed it to me directly. Feeling disrespected, I asked for her name and the store number, as she was not wearing a name tag. When I explained my intention to file a complaint due to her rudeness, she responded by asking me to leave the store without any apology or explanation for her poor service. I complied and left with my daughter. After we left, Athena apparently called the police and falsely claimed that I had accused her of being racist. The police subsequently contacted me and informed me that I was no longer welcome at that location. This reaction seems wholly unwarranted and is a result of my expressing disappointment with the service and indicating my intention to file a complaint. This experience has been deeply upsetting, not only to me but also to my daughter. It is disheartening to be treated this way after years of loyal patronage. I urge GameStop to conduct a thorough investigation into this matter and take appropriate action to ensure that such behavior is not repeated in the future. I appreciate your attention to this serious issue and look forward to your response."
"The employees are great, it's your basic game stop that has been here for over 20 years not the best game store but it works. This one doesn't have any retro games for those of you who look for that."
"Its just an average gamestop but the workers were nice to me so i gave it 4 stars"
"Very happy. The one employee that was there was very helpful and knowledgeable about games and hing systems. She took the time to explain the prices and features of several different systems I was looking at. No pressure or rudeness when I explained that I was not looking to purchase today. I was looking at a few Mandalorian items and she was nice enough to point out some similar items that were on sale. It was an impulse buy but I ended up buying a nice Mandolarian shirt for about $7 on clearance. The Xbox 360 games I got varies from $5 to $1. Some were way to expensive but most were very cheap. I got 3 games for $9. I would definitely recommend this store. At around 1:00 pm there was never more than 1 other customers in the store. Employee was wearing a mask and seemed to be social distancing but at the same time was very helpful. 5 star experience all the way."
