"I want to tell you what helpful, attentive service I received while purchasing and setting up my new iPhone this week. Two customer service reps, Adam and Ezekeil, made my purchase of an iPhone 14 as pleasant and easy as can be. I am someone with little understanding of cellphone technology. Both reps exhibited much patience and explained things in a way I could readily understand. They respected my budget and gave me the time I needed to make my decision. I am very happy with my purchase, and equally appreciative of their help."
"I’m glad this store has cameras so they can verify what I’m about to post as a review for this location and AT&T. I visited this location a few days ago and received an estimated quote to add a line and I said I would be back. I came back today, August 4th to the Flemington location which was empty with no reps around (see attached pic). A rep came out after a few minutes and we spoke about adding a new line. Cricket, the sales rep was nice and I had no issues initially. I repeatedly told her about what I was quoted and she assured me that was what I would pay. I had two lines also that I wanted to cancel which I had to do over the phone. AT&T on the phone offered me a better deal, that I declined, as I felt the rep at the store was being honest about the cost. She even helped talk to the manager on the ATT phone line to resolve a miscommunication. All OK so far, before approving the purchase I did again ask what the cost was as there was nothing on paper telling me now what my monthly would be, assuming it was still what I was told. We purchased the phone and added the line and added a screen protector to the phone. I asked for a receipt and was told it will be emailed. That was the first issue. Later I find out they could have printed the receipt - which if I saw the cost during purchase I would’ve declined the whole purchase as it was not what I was quoted. When I arrived home to see my receipt, the total was way off than what I was quoted. I called AT&T and they reiterated the cost breakdown, which I did not have from the store rep, and advised me to return the phone. I went back to the store and at first calmly said that I was returning the phone as I was misquoted the monthly costs. Cricket, the sales rep, tried to show me the breakdown and did show me how they reached what I was quoted for. However what she did not explain were all of the additional fees added at the month (about $50 more) that was not mentioned on my initial quote. Either way I said that’s fine, and to cancel the transaction. Instead of being apologetic, she immediately said there was a $55 restocking fee and that I would not get any money back for the $40 screen protector I purchased there too as she added on the screen already. She kept on saying how can she resolve my issues and I kept saying just don’t charge the restocking fee and she said only a manager can do that. She continued to say how can she help resolve almost antagonizing me and I responded upset to the point I asked for the manager name. She said she would not give me her name. I admit I started to get upset with the whole situation, but this could have all been avoided if I would have seen a breakdown of what I was paying and had a print receipt which Cricket said I didn’t specifically ask for a print receipt which is why I didn’t get one. Honestly I paid $90 to give the phone back rather then to further deal with this location. I have over 300 reviews and only once have I experienced such poor customer service. I like to give all businesses the opportunity to do right before writing a negative review. I don’t care about the refund as long as I can help someone else not to do business at this location. Avoid at all cost. I now know to call AT&T and ask for the loyalty department to get an accurate quote and better service. Apparently I’m not the only person who has run into the misquote and hidden fees that are not shared in a printed receipt as I see a few more reviews here with similar experiences."
